Yemas de Avila
These little treats are a treat in honor of St. Teresa. They are a specialty in Avila. They are egg yolks with lots of sugar and a little lemon. Today I decided it was time to taste one. I can't say it Is my favorite treat, but I can appreciate them. I couldn't help but be curious about this large meringue cookie- next time, I am getting this.

Doesn't sound like it would be my favorite dessert since it is all egg, but glad you at least have it a try. :)
