The medieval walls measure about one kilometer long, the walls are well preserved. The walls measure 3 meters wide with 9 entrance gates and 90 towers.
It's impressive to describe but breath-taking to see. Hoping to go walk around on top this week...
Loving all of your posts! Duane has the family quite busy. Wanted to get the girls together this weekend and they were booked :( Hoping to get them together after return from Estes Park but we will have family here for about another week. Perhaps there will be a quite night when Maya can come during their visit. She will probably have her full of all us elderly people :) So fun to see your trip via this blog.
